"Graveyard of the Atlantic" - Roanoke Island

This amazing 285,000-gallon tank hosts more than 450 fish and a number of sharks. Watch for scuba divers swimming past as dive operations take place throughout the day. The tank is 17 feet deep and is roughly the size and shape of a baseball infield. The exhibit is illuminated daily from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. (eastern time).
